Breakfast Smoothie
Really fuelling and rich! If I am going to have a smoothie for breakfast I have to fill it with good fats and proteins as thats the only way its going to keep me going. I really like this combination but you can mix and match anything you like into a morning smoothie. Just make sure you have a protein, a vegetable, a fruit to sweeten it and some sort of liquid to bring it all together. This combination was great though as it didn't need any extra sweeteners added! Smoothies are a really easy and nice way to get through a lot of fruit and vegetables which would otherwise be quite an effort to chomp through! I use ashwaganda in my smoothie because it's an adaptogen - That means it helps your body adapt to things such as stress and I think most of us need a little help with that. It's also the most gentle of all adaptogens which can only have a positive impact in helping to balance you.

half an avocado
small handful of blueberries
